The 1939 film *The Wizard of Oz* follows Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas, who is swept away by a tornado to the magical Land of Oz. To find her way home, she journeys to the Emerald City to seek help from the Wizard of Oz. Along the way, she befriends the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion, who join her in seeking brains, a heart, and courage. Together, they face challenges from the Wicked Witch of the West. Ultimately, Dorothy learns that she had the power to return home all along, discovering the importance of friendship and self-belief.
