The 1956 movie *Forbidden Planet* is a science fiction classic set in the 23rd century. A spaceship crew, led by Commander Adams, is sent to investigate the fate of a colony on the distant planet Altair IV. They find Dr. Morbius, a scientist, and his daughter Altaira as the only survivors, living with advanced technology left by an ancient alien race called the Krell. As mysterious dangers threaten the crew, they discover that Morbius’ experiments have unleashed a powerful and deadly force: a creature born from his subconscious mind. The film explores themes of technology, human hubris, and the subconscious, culminating in a dramatic and tragic conclusion.
